。𖦹°‧ ✨our first trip to Everland with ISO! it was such a great trip with you all taking rides and screaming together! even thought the weather seemed bipolar, we stayed and made each other warmer 🫂 my first ride was the panoramic one where we were able to observe a charming view of the afternoon Everland. special thanks to the group 2 who have taken us under their wing in a heartfelt way (my lovely group 6, i missed you so much but your health is much more important, take care of yourself!!). we had such a happy time together and managed to take a lot of rides. the best one, obviously, was T-express one where i screamed all my voice out. the best way to finish our trip was a ride with a good night view no matter how complicated circumstances may seem, let’s stay strong and healthy together 🫶🏻

☁️ Off to Incheon~ 2nd Bridge Bus It was fun to get to know better the place where all began! After all, a few months ago it was Incheon who firsts greeted me arriving to South Korea, even if then I didn’t got the chance to visit properly—and even if now I only visited some places, I had fun and go to enjoy delicious food and beautiful sights. I loved the Writing Systems Museum, so the day was off to a great start. The special exhibition had such cool interactive activities that made for great keepsakes and memories with ISO members and other exchange students 💕🫶. Lunch was also delicious in Incheon’s China Town and the atmosphere of group 2—my group 🙂‍↕️☝️—was super good as we ate and walked around, sharing our cultures and traditions regarding meals with family and even in new places! I learned a lot and got to share and get closer with others. Also the pictures ended up really nice. The most “active” part of our day proved to be a challenge to my lack of coordination as we trekked and walked around the coastline. My grouped and I played music, singing and enjoying the view with songs like “Take Me Home, Country Roads” (Hayden’s pick) “California” (Ruyi’s pick), “Into the I-Land” (Chiya’s pick), “Adore You” (Karakat’s pick) and the classic beach performance song MAMMA MIA’s version of “Lay All Your Love On Me” (Lilou’s, Vaci’s and my pick!)💃☝️. Eulwangri Beach remind me of home and Mexico’s beaches even if they are certainly different and facing entirely different oceans. The weather was better than expected and the sun set was one of my favorite’s ever. I had lots of fun taking pictures and enjoying the sights with my friends. At last we had dinner and went back, tired but satisfied after such a good day! I look forward to my last weeks in South Korea and sharing with my visiting family some of this trip’s sights. As always, ISO 🤝 Great memories.

🌟2nd Bridge Bus🌟 This trip was really memorable. While the museum was a little dry, I really loved going through Chinatown afterwards. We made a lot of great photos and enjoyed a lot of pretty sights.
It‘s sad that the hiking was cut short due to time reasons, but it was a fun experience. The good weather alleviated all of that, and continued to stay nice when we went to the beach. All in all, I had a lot of fun, and will look back on this trip as one of the core memories of my Korea vacation.

♥1st Bridge Bus in Suwon♥ We’ve already shared two seasons together. You arrived in Korea during the scorching summer, and I endured the heat to be with you. Throughout our time together, we carried the phrase “falling in ISO, falling in Suwon” in our hearts as we grew closer to one another. As following the dictionary definition of "falling in" is to become deeply immersed in something and unable to escape! Since autumn was the second season we spent together, the word “fall(another name of autumn)” felt like the perfect fit as well. As most of you know, I was born and raised in a small town in Korea, so visiting cities has always been an adventure for me. Both Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Haengnidan-gil were new experiences, which made this trip even more exciting. As we sat gazing at Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, ready to enjoy a picnic, without anyone saying a word, we all naturally gathered our lunchboxes together for a photo. And when we brainstormed ideas for shooting videos, leaning in close to one another, it felt incredibly endearing. Next, we strolled through Suwon Hwaseong and stepped into a Hanok-style café. Both the fortress and the café were built using traditional roof tiles, exuding a distinctly Korean atmosphere. However, the former had more vibrant colors, while the latter had a more understated elegance. How lucky were we to experience both kinds of beauty in such a short time! As the evening wore on, we started feeling hungry. Eager to eat, we quickly arranged our things, and I felt grateful for everyone who shared that moment with us. You all enjoyed the food, and I couldn’t help but smile as you gathered in a circle, excited to roast marshmallows. What continues to amaze me is that we all come from different countries. I was captivated by the exchange students’ eagerness to participate in traditional Korean games, even though they weren’t familiar with them. It was also heartwarming to see the Korean staff pulling out their phones, capturing those moments regardless of whether the students were on their team or not. Though our day came to a close, it wasn’t the end. The next morning, in the cool air, we watched the dawn break and promised to meet again. We will definitely meet again.

Going to Suwon was truly one of the best memories I have had in Korea. From the beautiful scenery, to the great food, to the nice weather, to the amazing people and to the fun moments i had; made this day the most special one. Ever since before arriving to Korea, going to Suwon was one of my priorities so when the ISO members told me that that was going to be the location the first bridge bus, was thrilled. Truly that whole week I was so excited for it to be Saturday already, to arrive there and have fun, I had high expectations of how good this trip was going to be and I am very happy to say that it was even better than I could imagine. When we first arrive at Suwon we all had such a nice time eating our breakfast in the picnic, where we got to take lots of cute photos and eat delicious food. It was quite enjoyable to be able to sit down with our teams to be able to talk and enjoy each other’s company before getting ready to walk all around the city. Going to the palace was so breathtaking, to be able to walked around such historic place. We took a lot of photos, make tik toks, and my team and I we even saw a filming being done, which was pretty cool. Also a highlight for me was that at the end when we were taking our group photo with everyone, I got the opportunity of grabbing a random number for lottery in which I won a lightstick, which was pretty cool. I chose the one with the King Image since it was the prettiest one. After that we went to a cute aesthetic cafe and it was so nice to sit down and cool down, since by this time we were all sweaty and tired hahah. Then walking around the city was so nice, like all the cute videos I saw on the internet before going. Then finally we went to the museum, and if you know me, you know I love museums so it was one of the highlights for me too. We took also lot of photos and it was so nice to read about the history of the place that we went to. Finally we went to the accommodation to rest, play games, had such a delicious food. Honestly the accommodation was su fun, truly, the games were so funny and I even fell to the floor because I got so dizzy from spinning. My team came out in second place, which made me very happy, we won hangover jelly. It was my first time trying it and I must say it was quite good. After that we started to drink and it was so fun. We recorded lots of fun videos and photos. Overall, it was such a fun experience and I will treasure this trip forever. Thank you to ISO for making my semester abroad the very best one. - Marielly

From the garden, to the village and museum and at the end to the pension, we made lots of memories. I liked the village, because we met a group of people that gave me a post card for free. But outside of the village, a cult lady talked to me, which was a new experience to me (I thought it was a rumour that that happens a lot😡). I liked the café we went to, the coffee was really good. My personal highlight was getting to know new people. I love being in a newly arranged group as it makes it easy to find new friends. The perfect opportunity to further get to know the rest, were the games we played at the pension. My group even got first place (!), although I didn‘t do much. Although it wasn‘t the normal party experience, I still had a lot of fun at the afterparty, even if at some point I simply fell asleep (I don‘t know what my mission there was🫠). The first bridge bus produced a lot of funny moments and unforgettable memories and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks to ISO Team.🍀🫶

Under the high and clear autumn sky, we had a wonderful time visiting the beautiful Suwon Hwaseong with lovely people. We enjoyed a lunch picnic at the beautiful Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, toured Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, and strolled through the alleys of Haengnidan-gil, where we could feel the nostalgia of old streets. During the trip, we got a little hot and ducked into a café, where we enjoyed a delicious latte, cheesecake, and cookies, making the moment even sweeter. 🥞🧀🧃 Above all, the most enjoyable and happiest moments were walking through the alleys with exchange student friends, chatting about anything and everything, filming Reels, striking poses, and capturing videos together. Sweet Suwon with Sweet people. Unforgettable. 🤍

The trip to Suwon, organized by HUFS ISO, was a true adventure! From the very first moments, we immersed ourselves in the atmosphere of Korean culture. The Hwaseong Fortress, with its majestic walls and rich history, transported us to the past. Walking along the fortress walls, through the park, and the streets of Suwon not only amazed us with their scenery but also created a sense of unity with history 😍 But the most valuable part was the connections we made with the others. We shared impressions, laughed, and grew closer. We explored, ate, and had fun together. The atmosphere of friendship created unforgettable memories!✨✨✨

The 1st bridge bus is over but it brought us a lot of unforgettable memories!! 🚌🍂 We went to Suwon and had great time there. During the picnic that we had in the beginning we did enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the nature. I spend great time together with my group, we had many conversations and took many pictures that will remind about that trip for a long time. The day was full of happy and fun moments, we attended Suwon Hwaseong and could enjoy the piece of Korean culture and witness amazing view there. I am really happy to be a part of ISO events!! Surely will wait for the next trip with ISO and other exchange students, hope we will have as much fun as we had that time🤍🫧

✨We Bridge Cultures in Suwon!✨ This trip was a good opportunity to learn more about the history and culture of Korea. Everything was great, from the picnic in the park to the games in the house. We walked a lot and visited places like Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, Haengridan-gil and Haenggung-dong Mural Village, Suwon Hwaseong Museum. We also had some delicious drinks in an atmospheric cafe with our new friends and discussed our MBTI ㅎㅎ During dinner we ate some really tasty meat and roasted marshmallows over the fire. It reminded me of cozy evenings outdoors with my friends. Thanks for the ISO we were able to make even more new friends from different parts of the world. So now I'm looking forward to our second trip with ISO!🩷🍱🧋🍰

As we started with a lot of expectations, I think 2 days went by quickly 🥺 First of all, I am grateful that all activities can be completed without accidents. It was an even more special time with ISO in a beautiful place called Suwon! From picnics to historical places to MT, everything was perfect and I was able to leave unforgettable memories 🫧 I hope the rest of your time in Korea will be full of smiles with ISO 🍀
